Should compulsory military training cover all adult men? The latest survey shows that the opinions of Poles on this issue are divided, and support for specified a solution grows with age. What else does Onetu's investigation say?
56.1% of respondents support compulsory military training of all adult men; 26.2 percent are opposed - according to the SW investigation survey for Onetu. At the same time, 39.8% of respondents declared their willingness to participate in the training.
The poll asked respondents if they were in favour of mandatory military training for all adult men. Most - 56.1% of respondents - replied "yes"; the other conviction was 26.2%. There is no 17.7% opinion.
The survey shows that 56.3 percent of women support compulsory training and 56% of men. 22.8 percent women and 30% men are opposed.
As Onet noted, the number of supporters of specified a solution increases with age. In the age group up to 24 years, "yes" 35 percent responded. In the group above 50%, 66.9 percent of respondents declare support for mandatory military training.
In addition, SW investigation asked the respondents if they would be willing to take part in military training. The willingness to participate was declared by 39.8% of respondents (32.5 percent of women; 48% of men). The answer "no" chose 43 percent and the conviction was not 17.2%.
There was besides a question in the poll: "Would you know how to behave in the event of an enemy attack?". 33.1 percent believe that "yes" (21.1 percent women; 46.7 percent men), 35.3 percent that "no" and "difficult to say" indicated 31.6%.
The survey was conducted on 11-12 March by SW investigation for Onetu by the CAWI (Computer Assisted Web Interview) method on a example of 800 people. (PAP)
