They asked me to join them. I said yes, I yet own it, and it's time I was there. Now quite a few people say that I sold Poland in this way. I realize the charge, but I disagree. After an interview with Nawrocki, I besides spoke to him for a fewer minutes alone in my office. Unfortunately, he was in a hurry to meet the voters, so we could not talk any longer" - he explained.
According to the Confederate leader, going out for beer could aid in the Nawrock elections, due to the fact that "it will demobilize the left, encourage the right." "And then? I do not know what the future will bring, but it may turn out that in 2 years it will be up to the Confederation to decide who will regulation in Poland. We cannot then find ourselves in a situation where 1 organization forces us to enter into an unfavourable coalition. I cannot let myself to be forced to stay in a coalition where I cannot carry out my demands. And erstwhile I endanger to leave, I will find out that I betrayed Poland" - he pointed out.
Mentzen assured that he did not intend to "give himself to vassalize the PiS or the PO". "I intend to meet with any crucial politician who wants to meet. I'd go for a beer, wine or coffee with Kaczyński, Tuski, Zandberg or Black. If anyone's bothered, I can't aid it. I'm not telling you who you can meet and who you can't meet," he said.
At the same time, the leader of the Confederacy expressed regret that in this way he covered "a very good conversation with Trzaskowski". "It would be better if, after Twitter, fragments flew, as he admits to many harmful views and plans, than that I drink beer with him. I was amazed at the scale of reaction to this beer" - he admitted.
He added that he was most amazed that "the PiS relay alternatively of heating up Trzaskowski's statements, began to experience this beer". "If individual after the full run where I was saving Nawrocki and I was attacking Trzaskowski all the time finds that I support Trzaskowski due to the fact that I drank beer with him, I can't aid it either. A minute earlier, for over an hr and a half, I showed how much I disagree with him, how could I support him? I am going to end this dual, to make certain that in Poland something yet changes" - concluded Mentzen.
