42 percent of right-wing netizens, including Confederate voters, considered Sławomir Mentzen's gathering with Rafał Trzaskowski at the beer to be "ideodic envy". We can talk about demobilization of this electorate - said PAP head of the analytical collective Michał Fedorowicz.
KO candidate for president Rafał Trzaskowski, as previously supported in the election by PiS Karol Nawrocki spoke to the Confederate leader on Mentzen's YouTube channel. After a Saturday conversation with Trzaskowski, he and his staff met with Mentzen in a pub over a beer.
The study of the European Analyst Collective shows that 42 percent of right-wing netizens considered it "an act of ideological betrayal, incompatible with the Confederate's erstwhile narrative". Among the main allegations of Confederate supporters appeared "the failure of values by Mentzen", and the motion itself was assessed as political PR and "+selling + establishment".
"From the position of social media users on the right, there is news chaos and we can say that something that we can identify as a certain degree of demobilization of this electorate" - said head of Res Futura Michał Fedorowicz.
33% of all those commenting on the gathering in the pub considered it a motion of dialogue. On the another hand, 15 percent were mocking and mocking reactions of both participants and media reception. 10% of comments were neutral and informative.
About 37 percent of the comments expressed negative emotions towards the gathering of politicians, and nearly 23 percent of them pointed to the disappointment of the deficiency of confrontation and the reception of Mentzen-Trzaskowski's conversation as a political withdrawal from extremist demands.
During the debate, Mentzen and Trzaskowski, 71% of comments were made on the subject. Mentzena was affirmative or neutral and expressing anticipation of a tough attitude towards the presidential candidate, and 85 percent of the comments on Trzaskowski were hostile or skeptical.
Immediately after the debate, there was a strong deterioration in the attitude of the Confederate voters; 54 percent were negative comments, including allegations of deficiency of assertiveness. There were any 60% of critical votes, but besides 6% of affirmative reviews, expressing appreciation for culture and preparation for the conversation.
"It does not seem that Rafał Trzaskowski very much convinced the audience, but surely the goal, which someway established a staff - to mobilise parts of the electorate, 1 can hazard saying that somewhere this grain was sown, but we do not know what the final dynamics of the run will be" - Fedorowicz said.
Among the most common phrases in the context of Sławomir Mentzen – on the basis of comments concerning Rafał Trzaskowski, there were voices specified as: ‘Mentzen sold himself,’ ‘The traitor of values’ and ‘Mentzen with Trzaskowski over beer’. These phrases account for 58% of all Mentzen-related wording in the context of the interaction with Trzaskowski.
Among the most frequently mentioned features of Rafał Trzaskowski were: cultural and mastered (24%) – frequently indicated in the context of the kind of debate and conversation with Mentzen, substantive and competent (21%) – assessed on the basis of arguments and knowledge, especially compared to competitors and "dual and politically calculated" (18%) – in the context of criticism of the gathering with Mentzen and election strategy itself.
The conversation between Sławomir Mentzen and Rafał Trzaskowski, which took place on Saturday, May 24, was broadcast live on the YouTube channel the Confederacy's policy. It broke the evidence of the number of viewers, which exceeded 600 thousand, becoming the most popular YouTube broadcast on the political subject in Poland. On Sunday evening, the number of views of the conversation with Trzaskowski reached 4 million 200 thousand, an earlier conversation with Nawrock was displayed 4.5 million times.
