Confederate candidate dropped out of the presidential race, but achieved a great, 3rd score. Almost 15 percent of Mentzen's support is simply a treat for candidates who stayed in the race.
The leader of the Confederacy invited first Karol Nawrocki and then Rafał Trzaskowski to his home and held public talks with them. The expression of these meetings was somewhat different. Karol Nawrocki fought for an ideologically close electorate of Mentzen, and Trzaskowski entered serious discussions and polemics with Mentzen. Finally, the candidate KO invited the Confederate leader for beer. The net flooded videos showing them both with the staff at the pints of beer.
Many Mentzen fans expressed their far-reaching disapproval for specified fraternization, besides complained to PiS fans and Nawrocki staff. Mentzen himself doesn't make much of it.
"With Nawrocki would have gone for a beer, too, but he didn't. I don't realize what any people mean. I don't belong to the mob, I don't belong to a cult. I'm going straight. I will not be enrolled in any of your camps. And politicians should be able to usually talk to each other," he wrote on X.
Let us clarify that Nawrocki was at Menzen's before 1 of the election meetings. He couldn't get a beer due to the fact that he was on his way to the rally.
