U.S. president Donald Trump stated that he did not intend to wait for Russia's readiness to close a truce with Ukraine indefinitely. He stated that he had designated for Moscow a "psychological deadline" to scope an appropriate agreement.
At the same time, he expressed his conviction that president Vladimir Putin was curious in concluding a settlement.
He besides added that he was very dissatisfied with the fact that the Russian president discredited Ukraine's leader Volodymir Zelenski: “I was very disappointed by any statements from the last day or 2 related to Zelenski, saying that I did notHe deserves to be trusted. He wants it or not, he has to make a deal with him."
Thus Trump referred to Putin's proposal to introduce a temporary "external management" of Ukraine. At the same time, the American leader reiterated that he had a "very good relationship" with the Russian President, and that his anger would "quickly disappear" if Putin acted "right".
