Mateusz Morawiecki powerfully commented on the allegations made against him of overriding his rights during the pandemic COVID: “There will be no difference between us “tourists,” “Bodnarists” spit in the face!” wrote the erstwhile Prime Minister on platform X.

Mateusz Morawiecki waived immunity and appeared in the prosecutor's office today. He was accused of exceeding his powers in the preparation of presidential election organization during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.

“There will be no different “tourists”, “bodnarists” spit in our face! We will always fight for the truth! We will fight for victory! That we can run the government of Poland again! And this day of the fresh verdict of democracy, the verdict of past – it will come!” we read on the profile of the Prime Minister on platform X.

Mateusz Morawiecki recalled the circumstances that prevailed during the pandemic: “As Prime Minister of the Polish Government, I was not afraid to make hard but essential and liable decisions. It is the work of the authorities to keep the order and functioning of the state. I besides did this with the full government in a time of crisis that came with the COVID-19 pandemic. ... present I am being prosecuted for the will to organize presidential elections. In highly hard conditions of the pandemic, I tried to fulfil my work to Poland. Looking at the actions of the current government, I am sad to say that this is an thought alien to some."

The erstwhile Prime Minister besides recalled the actions of the opposition from that time, indicating that it carried out its own interests, not the interests of Poland.
