French president Emmanuel Macron warned in an interview with the Financial Times that a peace deal in Ukraine would be tantamount to “capitulation.” He questioned whether Russian leader Vladimir Putin was sincerely ready for a permanent ceasefire. Macron besides described Trump’s return to the White home as an “electric shock.”
