The Buzdigans' Gala was held present at the Capital Kamienica Theatre. This is the culmination of the competition of the editorial board of the monthly magazine “Polish Armed Forces”. For 31 years it has been rewarding people who have the courage to change the Polish Army and introduce fresh quality to it. “The buzdigan household is joined by another different people: charismatic commanders, real leaders, soldiers bravely going beyond the usual schemes, enthusiasts and visionaries, and people empathic and delicate to human harm,” said Magdalena Kowalska-Sendek, p.o. editor-in-chief of the monthly magazine, who thanked the winners for their service and achievements and for becoming an inspiration for their actions.

Artur Kolosowski, manager of the MON Operations Centre, who read the letter, pointed out in his speech that the winners of the “Polish Armed Forces” award became a very narrow group of people. “The specified indication of a candidate is already a large distinction, and among them all the Chapter chooses only six. The Buzdigan Gala was held under the honorary patronage of Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Defence Ministry. The patron of the ceremony was the Polish Armed Forces Group.
