Latvia will strengthen anti-aircraft defence

Under the contract concluded, Latvia shall procure RBS 70 NG launchers with missiles and training equipment. Supplies (if contract/executive agreements are concluded) will be implemented from 2026 to 31. This means a possible increase in the number of launchers of this kind by the Latvian army, which acquired them in 2004 (RBS 70) and purchased missiles for them in 2015.
