Lithuania accelerates the acquisition of OPL and vehicle systems

[Lithuania announced in October last year the acquisition of further vehicles of the Vilkas family](https://defence24.pl/power-arms/litwa-soon-new-bwp-today-cars-for-sapers), but this time in the engineering variant. The amount of the contract by which 27 vehicles were purchased with deliveries scheduled for the years 2027-29 is not known. The additional envelope for this intent was EUR 150 million. This variety, like the Vilkas car itself, is created specifically for the implementation of the Lithuanian order, where the wheeled armored transporter Boxer is inactive the basis.
