Lithuania buys HIMARS and almost a 1000 missiles

The US Defence Cooperation Agency (DSCA) has published the US State Department's approval for possible sale to Lithuania of 8 M142 HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) rocket artillery systems along with precise rocket ammunition. According to Lithuanian defence minister Arvydas Anušauskas, the contract is expected to be signed in December of this year.
