Ukraine proposes to end this war in a format between you and us. I'm offering you a meeting.

The president of Ukraine in a letter to Vladimir Putin recalled that more than 26 years ago, many Ukrainians were affirmative about the Russian leader, but, as he pointed out, present it is the past.
