During the combat liftaver training, the soldiers improved their skills in detecting and stopping massive hemorrhages, which are the main origin of death in the battlefield. In addition, they recalled the principles of checking the airways, displeasing the pulmonary diaphragm, or supplying chest wounds. The instructors besides checked how the trainees were coping with limb amputation.
CLS training (comabt liftaver) is simply a valuable experience due to the fact that it shows us how to behave in the battlefield. specified conditions are very different from civilian first aid. Soldiers learn first of all to play with full teams – explains the CLS instruction and medical rescuer – Lieutenant Kamila of the 12th Wielkopolska Territorial Defence Brigade.
At the end of the class, instructors summarized the activities of the participants. With this kind of activity, the Territorials build dual-use competences. These are useful elements both on the battlefield and during mass events. CLS courses- or combat liftaver (the battlefield rescuer) are trainings on which the Territorial defence Army emphasizes.
