The legislature safety of Poland, which took place on 11-12 June in the modern ZEN complex.COM EXPO in Rzeszów-Jasionka, gained the rank of 1 of the most crucial nationwide events having a real impact on shaping safety in Poland.
During the KBP Rzeszów 2025 safety was changed by all cases. On the first day of the congress, discussions focused on Polish and US cooperation in defence, technology transfer, the importance of local production and strategical offset agreements.
The next day brought debates on the promotion of Polish military equipment in abroad markets, building strategical partnerships and adapting civilian technologies to defence needs. The Defence Horizon initiative has met with very large approval and interest.
The second day began with a subject on safety key services. The debate focused on protecting critical infrastructure, modernising transport and developing safety support systems. The discussions besides afraid the implementation of fresh regulations specified as the CER Directive and investments in monitoring and unmanned technologies. The request to strengthen the resilience of strategical facilities has been highlighted. During the safety Finance Banking Sector block, participants analysed the anticipation of creating funds and lending for defence projects. Legal barriers and examples of cooperation between the financial sector and public administration were raised. Attention was drawn to the importance of unchangeable backing for state security.
The Transport and Energy Block addresses issues related to aviation sector security, energy transformation and stableness of energy supply. Experts discussed the importance of atomic energy, renewable sources and digital safety for critical infrastructure. The request for investment in modern technologies and safety systems has been highlighted.
At the end of “Security guards – the key function of uniformed services in protecting and defending the country”, speakers focused on military, police and fire brigade tasks. The debate raised issues of inter-service cooperation, experiences from the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and terrorist threats. During this peculiar evening awards were presented in the Diamond Shields competition, which honored the most outstanding projects, initiatives and people working to strengthen Poland's security. Due to political events in Warsaw, Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and Krzysztof Gawkowski could not participate in the legislature and receive awards granted to them in the Diamond Shields competition in the category of safety Pioneers. On behalf of the Minister of National Defence, a letter was read at the beginning of the first day in which he expressed his gratitude to the Jury of the Competition for this award. On the another hand, the award was received by the Undersecretary of State, Rafał Rosinski. The statue was presented by president Konrad Fijołek and president Krzysztof Dyki, and the laudations stressed the contribution of both winners to the improvement of defence and cybersecurity of Poland.
The legislature safety of Poland in Rzeszów was an expression of a mature and liable dialog on the future of national safety in the face of dynamically changing geopolitical realities.
