
On Economic Forum in Davos 1 of the main topics is global hazard report. These are armed conflicts, utmost weather phenomena, geopolitical confrontations (e.g. trade wars), misinformation and polarization. Over 900 experts from around the world felt that we were surviving in times of large uncertainty.
– Our survey shows that 36% of respondents believes that we are dealing with stormy or very stormy sometimes – these are the 2 most negative categories. This refers to a two-year perspective, and in the 10-year position this figure increases to 62%. This means that nearly 2/3 of respondents anticipate stormy or very stormy times," said the global hazard expert in the conversation with Polsat News Mark Elsner.

– In the long term, the risks that our respondents have long pointed to are environmental issues, specified as: extreme weather, pollution. Referring to misinformationElsner estimated that it was connected to polarisation. – Our study shows that these 2 issues go hand in hand. We have a bigger problem with disinformation erstwhile we spend more time online, it has to do with the improvement of artificial intelligence, and the spread of disinformation takes place on faster and wider Elsner stressed.
– We are counting on our study to encourage governments to act. This. call on many countries to dialogue. Many of these risks are global in nature, there are no limits," the expert stressed.
