On 20 May 2024 the 13th gathering of the Polish-Ukrainian Commission for the survey of common Relations between 1917 and 1921 was held. The gathering took place as part of the 7th edition of the Polish-Ukrainian Meetings in Toruń, organized by the Faculty of Historical Sciences of the Nicolaus Copernicus University. Members of the Commission were hosted by the manager of the Institute of past Prof. Maciej Krotofil and Dean of the Waldemar Rozynkowski Department. Members of the Commission took part in meetings with the academic community of the Nicolaus Copernicus University and in a lecture opened during the Polish-Ukrainian Meetings by Dr. Andrij Rukkas Polish-Ukrainian Alliance from 1920 – military aspects. Participants of the gathering were welcomed by the authorities of Nicolaus Copernicus University and the Consul General of Ukraine Alexander Płodystyj.
The item of this gathering was the visit of 2 popular-scientific exhibitions prepared by Ukrainian scholars staying at the Nicolaus Copernicus University, including a associate of the Commission Prof. Irina Matiasz “The female who told the planet about independent Poland”.
On 21 May there was a gathering with the local government authorities of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship and the mayor of Aleksandrów Kujawski.
Members of the Commission laid a wreath on Kozacka Mogile in Aleksandrów Kujawski – a burial site for interned URL soldiers. They besides participated in a popular discipline program, open to residents of Toruń. The closed part of the gathering of the Commission was chaired by the Co-President of the Commission, Prof. Jan Jacek Bruski and Prof. Władysław Werstiuk. In addition to the members of the Commission, prof. Henryk Litwin, a typical of the east European Studies, attended the meeting. The gathering was devoted to current cases, in particular:
1. Issue of a volume of Commission Work;
2. State of preparation of the 2 origin volumes;
3. Planned work of the members of the Commission;
4. Date of the next Commission meeting
It was agreed:
1. Deadline for sending articles to the 3rd Volume of Commission Work – 30 September 2024
2. Transfer by the end of the year to the publishing home of the manuscript of the second volume "Soyusz Piłsudski-Petlura", containing papers on Polish-Ukrainian economical cooperation from 1919 to 1920 in the survey by Prof. Jan Pisuliński. Complete the preparation of a volume of origin papers under the editorial board of Prof. Maciej Krotofil and Dr. Maxim Potapenko "Polish Corpses in Ukraine".
3. Dr. Oleh Pavłyszyn reported that he had prepared a technological publication of the brochure by Yevhen Czekalenko. Prof. Mariusz Korzeniowski presented the papers of the legislature Office of the years 1918–1920, concerning the situation in the Ukraine of Naddnieprzańska during this period with
the intention to prepare their choice.
4. The next gathering of the Commission will be held in Warsaw on 21 or 24 November
2025.

20 травня 2024 відбулося 13-те засідання Польсько-української для дослідження взаємин 1917–1921 роках рамках 7-х-українських зустрічей Торуні, організатором яких виступає Історичний факультет факультет факультет Університету Університету Миколая Коперника Коперника.
