Karol Nawrocki the fresh president of Poland – authoritative election results

The National Election Commission received the results of the presidential elections in Poland.The winner was Karol Nawrocki, a candidate supported by the Law and Justice, who won 10,606,628 votes, representing 50.89% of the vote.His rival, Rafał Trzaskowski of the Civic Coalition, received 10 237 177 votes, gaining 49.11% of support.

The turn in the second circular was 71.63% and the highest was recorded in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, where 77,51% of the right to vote went to the polls.

The fresh president will take office on 5 August 2025, after the end of the current president Andrzej Duda's word of office.According to the Constitution of Poland, Karol Nawrocki will be sworn in before the National Assembly, which will officially begin his word of office.

During the election campaign, the first exit polls pointed to the advantage of Rafał Trzaskowski, however, subsequent summertime poll studies strengthened the position of Karol Nawrocki, which was reflected in the final result of the election.
