– A NATO peace mission or wider global agreement is needed, which will besides be able to defend itself and which will work in Ukraine," said PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński in March 2022. At that time, he proposed the introduction of a mission involving Polish soldiers.

"First we learned from the media that Tusk had gone to Kiev as part of the alleged coalition of volunteers. Now we hear from American politicians that there are talks about sending Polish soldiers to Ukraine. Tusk has deceived Poles and plans to do so again" – Kaczyński wrote on platform X.
"There is no justification for sending Polish troops to Ukraine. May I remind you that the President's approval is essential for the usage of the Armed Forces outside the state. Only Charles Nawrocki guarantees she'll be gone. Only Karol Nawrocki can supply Poland and Poles with security," he added.
Kaczyński spoke about the words of U.S. peculiar Envoy for Ukraine General Keith Kellogg. This 1 said present that 1 of the peaceful solutions he considered for the war in Ukraine was to put European forces west of Dnieper "to monitor the ceasefire".
