According to the exit poll performed by Ipsos for TVN24, TVP and Polsat News, candidate KO Rafał Trzaskowski obtained 50.3% of the votes; 49.7% of voters voted for the PiS-backed Karol Nawrocki.
"We will win these elections" - said Jarosław Kaczyński during Nawrocki's election evening.
He stated that Nawrocki's "real measurement of victory" was the "relationship of force". On the side of Trzaskowski there was "a immense media advantage, financial advantage, external support" and "Niagar's lies are all the worst".

"There seemed to be nothing to be done in this situation. It was possible and thank you very much, especially Karol Nawrock, but besides all of you" - said Kaczyński. The gathering began chanting "we won, we won."
"Yes, we won due to the fact that we're just right" - said Kaczyński. "We are telling the truth: about Poland, about its future, about its present, about everything that is incorrect in our country today" - he said.
The Head of Law and Justice criticized Prime Minister Donald Tusk, judging that he was going the other way to the interests and needs of the Polish nation. "I believe that we will win, that we will carry out our plan, that we will change Poland" - added Kaczyński.
