Vacation? Not in politics.

Despite the beginning of the vacation and vacation season, Polish politics do not slow down.

On Children's Day, Karol Nawrocki was victorious, and many adults did not like it. For almost all June there were attempts to challenge voters' decisions. Those who challenged it led, at least temporarily, to weaken the main organization of the co-register, or Civic Coalition. In 1 month, support for it fell by 6%. any voters withdrew from support or no longer want to admit that they would have voted for KO.

From the reflection of trends in the network it can be seen that for many alleged “normals” the Coalition has become simply a embarrassment. Although it was expected to be European, open, tolerant and modern, present it looks terrible.

As if it wasn't enough, according to the old proverb, misfortunes go in pairs. In fresh days KO has to face another problem that is just coming out, and it is expected that there will be more. We are talking about the migration crisis, more specifically what is presently happening on the Polish-German border. The activity of the Border defence Movement (ROG) did not come out of nowhere – this is the consequence of an expanding problem which has been underestimated so far.

Social sentiments are clear – most Poles say decisive “no” to illegal migrants. Many remember Angela Merkel's decision a decade ago erstwhile she announced the beginning of Europe's doors to the alleged “engineers” – present it is known that this beginning had serious consequences. Migrants came to Europe with the conviction that they deserved everything, regardless of their contribution to society.

Over the years, Germany, supported by Brussels decision-makers and influential environments, cultivated this strategy – as long as the economy managed. But after the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the madness of the Green Deal, even Germans began to feel the effects of their own policies. And now they are trying to shift work – including Poland, Austria or the Netherlands. This is Berlin's “new” migration policy – there is nothing fresh about it but to push the problem on its neighbours.

In the Polish mainstream media it is hard to find more information about this issue – it is no wonder, since any of them belong to German capital, and in others the influence of German services is not small. Meanwhile, it was the citizens who reacted – the Border Defence Movement was created from the bottom up. Regardless of political sympathy, people united in defending the basic good—security.

It was social pressure, publicized pictures and border relations that led Poles to support ROG activities. There are more and more reports of mistrust towards border services, which, according to many, respond besides passively to the actions of German borderers. And those, as you might think, follow instructions straight from the German government – CDU/CSU and SPD.

As a result, the Polish government – not long ago reluctant to do so – had to reconstruct border controls. They entered into force present and concern borders with Germany and Lithuania. It's a step in the right direction, though late.

However, this does not mean that the issue of illegal migration will vanish from the public debate. The problem has not been solved – it's just a temporary patch, not a strategy change. This would require confrontation with Brussels and opposition to the planned Migration Pact – like Viktor Orbán. But the current coalition, openly pro-Brussel, will not decide on an open conflict, even if Brussels policies, specified as the Green Deal or migration, are increasingly absurd.

It is worth noting that the level of submission to the Union is not equal in all parties forming the government. The left supports this policy unreservedly – it is natural due to the fact that multi-kulti is its foundation. KO somewhat little enthusiastic, but besides without much resistance. The most doubts are the PSL – and this may be important, due to the fact that the subject of migration has the possible to dominate the public discussion for long months. And with a weak kind of governance, it can only deepen divisions within the ruling centre-left.

All the more so due to the fact that we have had the biggest political shock of the past week – the night gathering of Marshal Holown with Euro MP Adam Bielan and Deputy Marshal of the legislature Michał Kamiński. In addition, president Jarosław Kaczyński, who joins the talks after midnight. According to the KO media, it was expected to be a gathering about a “new hand”. It may be about Holovnia's keeping the marshalling in the second part of the word – that is, moving distant from the rotating model. Maybe? Yes, due to the fact that in the absence of the opposition's consent and the Holownia party, there is no majority needed for his dismissal.

Such a script could have spread the coalition, due to the fact that the Left was to receive the talker of the Sejm by 2027. If omitted, the full structure can fall apart.

There is besides the explanation that the method government was discussed – without the KO, but with the participation of the current opposition. This option would mean the end of Donald Tusk's regulation and accelerated elections – possibly in the spring.

Therefore, the night activities of Holowna and its parties must be treated with caution. He's fighting for influence in the organization that Minister Pełczyńska-Nałęcz is trying to take over. He is besides fighting for a stronger PL2050 position in the coalition. Finally, he fights for the future of his group. After a possible divorce from PSL, the PL2050 itself may not exceed the electoral threshold. The Holownia knows it, and its Members know it.

As a result, in view of the weakness of the ruling camp, political attachments for the fresh hand began. And it seems that even during the vacation period there is no remainder from politics.
