The German government welcomed the peace proposal presented by the president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenski in a letter to Vladimir Putin. A cabinet spokesperson in Berlin, Sebastian Hille, pointed out that Europe and the US should besides participate in the negotiations on ending the conflict.
