A large success of the Polish Navy squad ended the Polish Army Championship in 2 disciplines: overcoming OSF obstacles and patrol running. Sailors with a large advantage won squad classifications of both events and took 3 out of 4 individual distinctions for the best players. The competition took place at the facilities of the MW Training Centre.
Not very hospitable to visitors, of course, given only the results of sports competition, turned out to be sailors on sports arenas in Ustka. They won the 2 most crucial squad classifications of the championship, which are included in the competition in the general athletics in the Armed Forces of Poland, and in individual starts they won 3 victories. Polish Army champions were: bsmt Adam Struk and matt Joanna Terefenko and in crossing the obstacle track of the physical fitness centre – Mr Marcin Kołoszuk. The host typical was incapable to win the title only on the OSF track – the gold medal was won by the general expert. Anita Jędras from 11th Armoured Cavalry Division. 4 individual winners were besides awarded awards for the best championship players.
– I'm very happy for the double squad victory. That's what I've been trying to do, and we've yet achieved our goal. Perfectly, our squad runs on the OSF have worked out. In both series we completed them in almost the same time – says Mr Marcin Kołoszuk, officer liable for preparing the Polish Navy's squad for the Polish Army Championship. The commander not only spins all organizational and training matters, but besides makes a major contribution to the team's scoring points for competition in the general sport. This year in Ustka he won 2 gold medals on the OSF – in individual and squad run – and gold in the squad patrol race. It was close that he besides won the medal in individual competition in the "Patrol" – he placed in 4th position. “I am no longer enjoying individual successes as much as the team.” With age, I lose speed, but I effort to catch up with strength preparation and the method of overcoming obstacles – added the commander, who, what is worth highlighting, in 2 starts in the patrol run turned out to be 1 of the best shooters in the full stake. In both runs he scored 46 points. The better (by 1 "eye") was only in the squad run of the pup. Dominik Krumin from the representation of territorial defence troops.
Where Kołoszuk failed to stand on the podium, another typical of the hosts turned out to be unrivalled – bsmt Adam Struk, who won the 5th individual title in his ninth start in the Polish Army Championships in the patrol run. Together with him, representatives of the Armed Forces Support Inspectorate were placed on the podium: plut. Sebastian Gołdin and Wsr. Kacper Skibiak. On the another hand, in individual competition on the OSF track next to the master of the Navy 2 players from the 16th Mechanized Division were standing: specials Łukasz Jarzabski and spit. Maciej Skibski.
In squad runs of men in both disciplines the hosts were the top. In the championships in overcoming the OSF obstacles the sailors already in the first series gained an excellent time of 73.45 pp. In the second run they ran small slower – 73.64 p. On the another hand, in the patrol run – during which you gotta run the way about 2 km, including the OSF obstacle course, and at the end of the rivalry to shoot with a military weapon – the fastest on the OSF were of course sailors. The track was defeated in 73 s, the second squad – the Armed Forces Support Inspectorate – in 75 s, and the 3rd squad – the 16th Mechanized Division – in 76 s. Interestingly, in 10 teams with 30 scorers all sixth was an officer senior. Apart from Mr. Lt. Kołoszuk, they ran and fired: Colonel Damian Krzysztofiak and Major Piotr Szpigiel from the 16th Mechanized Division, and Colonel Jarosław Kurek and Colonel Rafał Goławski from the military colleges' representation.
In women's rivalry, both champions – mat Joanna Terefenko in the patrol run and st. wide spec. Anita Jędras in beating the OSF obstacle track – most likely reached for titles. In the second discipline, the conflict for the silver medal was very fierce. Both players improved their results in the second series, and only 0.15 s faster than the team. Michelle Garst-Latki of the Navy was a Lieutenant Paulina Siwik of the 16th Mechanized Division. The fight for the 4th position was highly even – 3 players were in the scope of 0.33 p.
