India wants access to smartphone origin codes

According to the information [published](https://www.reuters.com/world/china/indias-proposed-phone-security-rules-that-are-worrying-tech-firms-2026-01-11/) by the agency Reuter, [the authorities of India](https://cyberdefence24.pl/cybersecurity/end-freedom-in-networks-indie-uder-in-users) want to commit [smartphone manufacturers](https://cyberdefence24.pl/politics-i-right/tax-from-smartphone-branch-against-changes) to the provision of origin code for operating systems and selected software components at the request of state authorities.
