Since the beginning of 2025, there has been a trend in radio listening – according to the latest Radio Track survey, the full regular radio scope was 63.6 percent in the first half of this year, which represents an increase of 1.3 percent points compared to the first half of 2024. Higher radio listening is recorded in all age groups and at all levels of education. Most Poles perceive to radio in the car and in this group there is besides an increase in results.
In the first half of this year, 63.6 percent of Poles listened to radio daily, which translates into 18.7 million people. This is an increase of nearly 400,000 compared to the first half of 2024. Both this year and the erstwhile year, over 24 million Poles turned on the radio at least erstwhile a week.
The most popular place to perceive to the radio is the car – in the first half of this year the radio in the car listened to 11.4 million Poles, i.e. about 380 1000 more than the year before. The second place where we perceive to the radio is the home – about 8.6 million Poles listened to the radio at home in both the first half of 2025 and 2024. In turn, the percent of people listening to radio at work increased by 68 thousand, and nowadays this form of spending time with radio prefers about 3.8 million Poles.
During this period, radio listening increases are seen in all age groups. Among people aged 40 to 59, the radio listened to 69.5 percent, an increase of 2 percent points compared to the first half of the erstwhile year. In the group 60-75 years – 62.6 percent (an increase of 1.5 percent points); in the group 25-39 years – 61.1 percent (an increase of 0.7 percent points). The growth trend is besides seen in the group of the youngest subjects, i.e. those aged 15 to 24 years: 54 percent in the first half of 2025 versus 53.3 percent in the first half of 2024.
Radio listening in the first half of this year increased at all levels of education. The highest number of radio listeners is in higher education – 65.2% (an increase of 0.7 percent points), somewhat little among people with secondary education – 64.4 percent (an increase of 1.4 percent points). In the group with vocational education and basic radio listens to 61.3% of people (an increase of 1.8 percent points).
