Barbara Nowacka did not hide her outrage against the actions of any members of the Left who opposed the simplification of the wellness contribution. In an interview with Bogdan Rymanowski on Radio Zet said:
– I am amazed at the actions of all my colleagues in the Left due to the fact that we believe that this is an election action. However, the organization Together had a chance to enter the government. They had a chance to take work for the state's action. If they have specified good ideas, why didn't they benefit from it? – she reacted sharply Nowacka to the allegations made by the politicians of the Left that the change in the wellness contribution would affect the wellness and life of patients.
Nowacka pointed out that the proposal to reduce the wellness contribution, voted by the Sejm on 4 April, is simply a step that is meant to truly support tiny entrepreneurs, not only to fulfill the campaign's electoral promise.

Rymanowski asked Nowack whether her left-wing heart broke erstwhile she voted to lower her wellness contribution. The messenger replied sincerely:
– It would have broken [left heart] if it had not been for my conversation with Minister Leschina, and [previously] her conversation with the Minister of Finance, due to the fact that at the minute erstwhile the Minister of Finance guaranteed that this change was supporting entrepreneurs, 2.5 million, mostly tiny and medium-sized ones, would benefit from this change, that in no way would it affect the NFZ and the patient," Nowack concluded. She added that this change is aimed at supporting entrepreneurs, not as the Left claims – weakening the wellness system.
It was besides amazing for many to vote Minister of wellness of Isabella Leschina. The head of the department, despite earlier announcements that she would not agree to this, voted "FOR lowering the stake". Rymanowski asked Nowack whether Leszczyna's decision was the consequence of force from Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
– It is simply a question of talking to Mr Domanski and his hard declaration that the changed wellness contribution will not affect NFZ's finances, that is, it will not affect patients' welfare, and it is for you that the Minister is most crucial – she explained the change of decision of the Nowacka wellness Ministry.

In the vote on the wellness Charge simplification Act, 213 Members supported the draft and 190 were against. Members of the PiS and the Confederacy abstained. Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced that the simplification of the contribution is simply a partial repair of the harm caused by the Polish Government, but the opposition, including the Left, expressed opposition, alleging that the government "wants to take money from the NFZ from patients, take money from patients, and the NFZ strategy is already a 20-billion hole"
The fresh bill voted by the Sejm introduces 2 parts of the wellness contribution for entrepreneurs. The first part is 9% from 75% of the minimum wage. The second depends on income – entrepreneurs pay it on surplus earnings above the national average. For lump sums, the contribution will be calculated from higher revenues.
