Horse or Civic Pact

The Citizen legislature Pact? What is the point, why citizenly, erstwhile the legislature Pact has been agreed and only individual details are being discussed? Is it about replacing politicians in the legislature with "non-politics"? The Citizen legislature Pact is not the same as the Citizen Senate. The Citizen legislature is simply a dream, the Citizen legislature Pact is an absolutely essential minimum.

Is this about the anti-party revolt?

Only to a certain extent.

Firstly, the devil is in the individual details – and it is he who is the subject of the arrangements today, as far as 1 can justice after rumors from behind the scenes. The 2019 legislature Pact was included in the concrete strategy of organization cameras, by means of "stand-off bargaining", during which the country was divided between 3 arranged parties, and each of them appointed its candidates in its territory and ordered us to support them as the only ones – the only alternate to the Law and Justice. For some, this meant highly hard situations, as happened in Warsaw territory 44, where under the protection of the legislature pact Kazimierz Ujazdowski was exhibited at the last possible moment, which fits progressive Warsaw like a fist to the nose. The pact presently being prepared for us is to be identical – in the group of four, not 3 parties.

But it's not about who gets into the Senate, it's about who gets into the Senate, it's about who deals with who, how, what costs, and what compromises, who and what they actually deal with, and why it's not a social pact, it's about a deal with 4 guys who aspire to power.

Secondly, the candidate for the Civic legislature Pact does not necessarily should be partyless. As long as they happen – like Adam Bodnar, that I will not mention myself – they will, according to all probability, be exceptions among politicians for whom natural, average and so far correct paths have been and stay careers in parties. The candidate of the Citizen's legislature Pact is not 1 who does not belong to any party, and the parties are told only bad things like Paweł Kukiz (or I myself, and I am telling something much different) – but the 1 or those who will be pointed out in a procedure which we all know and understand, for reasons that we know, and the indication – would be perfect – will take place with our participation and will have the character of choice.

What does that mean about us? Whose exactly? How? There's quite a few ways, and that's what it would be worth talking about today, alternatively of dangerous individual devils.

  1. The challengers should be met first.
  2. It would then be appropriate to perceive to them in public, preferably in a manner that is conducive to a factual assessment, in which the most prominent Polish experts would be the authors of questions and reviewers of answers. These in Poland are not missing. They will not appear at organization conventions due to the fact that they must not do so if they respect their independent, expert position and if this position excludes shouting slogans that are to be catchy.
  3. The survey is the weakest, but the simplest and always possible evaluation criterion. These can be arranged in advance among competing parties. The most powerful and not hard option to carry out, especially in any urban districts, would be open primarys, e.g. for a period and involving 5 to 10% of voters. There is inactive time to talk about many indirect ways involving local governments, the environment and NGOs. Preferably in constituency.

Pressure or vote for a horse

I'm filing my own legislature candidacy for a fewer reasons, but first, it's to make a choice. Before voters from Warsaw and abroad. Is it truly all the same to whom the “unified opposition” will exhibit against PiS and is it not worth considering the choice between, for example, Ujazdowski and Kasprak? Why should a decision – without any influence on it – be made for us by respective men or even one? Do we truly want to vote for a horse as long as it's ours? Yes, we are ready to do so and we have shown it many times – but do we want to? And is that a good idea? In Warsaw, the horse inactive ensures success, but how does it affect the consequence across Poland?

Speaking of Warsaw, it is worth assessing the situation, however, it can be sober. If this election is to be a triumph over the Law and Justice, we can do nothing. The Law and Justice will truly win here even if a horse, as long as individual gets his ID and records him in PKW. The pictures on the posters are not a problem, someway the candidate will dress and learn, the interviews will aid kindness inactive free media, and in the end no of these things will substance – our determination will decide, and she is large and the horse will surely withstand even the un-dried, after all, many more.

In places specified as Warsaw, besides the Tricity, Poznań – 1 can inactive exchange among hundreds of districts – the stake in these elections is not to defeat the Law and Justice. It could be the right choice. What does that mean? I don't even dare offer, though I might. I'm just asking you to think about it. We're yet talking here among the large city intelligence, aren't we?

However, if in the plans of our political chiefs Warsaw is to be rewarded and if there is to be no choice, I propose not to get hysterical. In no of the Warsaw districts (the same is in Poznań, Tricity, in many places) the Law and Justice Office does not exceed the 30% threshold. This means that if the parties stand up to the horse and join it, refusing to talk about the election, they can besides run without risking disaster in the majority of the legislature elections and this choice will stay our interior case, completely independent of the fight against the Law and Justice, due to the fact that it has no influence on it – until the election against the Law and Justices becomes no more than 2 candidates. We could not lose to Ujazdowski in Warsaw. 1 of us had to get more than 30%, since it was 70. This is how it looks in Warsaw and cities in this respect akin to it, not for example in Łódź, where voices of 3 candidates – PiS, independent Kwiatkowski, with support of the not sufficiently loyal part of the PO (against Schetyna was supported by Hanna Zdanowska) and Małgorzata Niewiądzna-Cudak from the SLD as part of the pact – spread evenly and the disaster was possible. In Warsaw, it is possible to endanger the refusal to debate by maintaining the candidacy to the end and against the pact. In Warsaw and akin cities we have a chance of pressure, we can choose the legislature simply good. What legislature do we want?

Where lions live

That's how the Romans marked barbarous areas on maps, which reminded Kuba Wygnański, by proposing to the parties that they ‘give Inflanty’, that is, candidate places in the districts where they inactive get beat up and most likely get it again. The situation here requires, of course, that 1 joint candidate should run against the Law and Justice. Each territory has its own specificity, and the situation is radically different wherever the PiS wins, not exceeding the threshold of 50% of the vote and where the chances of breaking are clear, and another 1 where the odds look worse, due to the fact that the PiS scores there at 60% or more, and no 1 even puts out serious opponents. These are not many districts, but they exist. In both types, of course, the question is: what can we do?

It seems that not necessarily party, due to the fact that the success of the Law and Justice in these areas was based on an aversion to "elite" or "political class", and the Law and Justices managed to convince people in this characteristic way that it is an "anti-establishment opposition" even erstwhile it governs and holds in hand all media. In specified places people are winning hard-working, which does not exclude professional politicians, as the systematically winning politician in Podkarpacie Elżbieta Łukacijewska – the local leader of the PO convinces. Wojciech Bakun associated with Kukiz ’15, breaking up these unions in the local government run in Przemyśl defeated the PiS candidate with an advantage of almost 75%, although at the same time the PiS wins the legislature in the territory with an advantage of over 60% and in Przemyśl alone – over 50. As you can see, even in specified a situation. But you can besides see that during the classically conducted organization fight you can only get a beating.

Therefore, while the large urban comfort allows us to look for candidates just good, not worrying besides much about the threat of the Law and Justice, the frontal situation of the proverbial "Eastern Wall" forces us to look for better people – forcing the search for a legitimacy another than organization cards for them, due to the fact that a full scope of examples specified as Wojciech Bakun or Konrad Fijołk shows that the Law and Justice organization defeats itself with something another than the sign of the opposition party. Here, therefore, citizens' committees would be even more useful.

Why don't we make them, and what are we waiting for erstwhile we hear rumors about secret talks by the pact politicians? Rumor has it. e.g. that the PO will exhibit at the Giertych Senate. A recipe for success, really...
