At the end of June, erstwhile the first fire task was carried out with the M142 Himars strategy (approximately 24-25 June), the alleged "hymarsing", i.e. the demolition of Russian ammunition depots, command stations in the rear and key logistics infrastructure facilities (e.g. bridges on Dniepro), became a crucial component of the war. Initially, the M142 systems were few, but gradually their number was expanding - dense M270 joined to the lightweight Himars launchers, the ability to fire precisely at a distance of up to 80-85 km gradually increased. In the summer, the demolition of respective twelve ammunition depots reduced the activity of npla artillery in selected directions, forced it to reformatt the logistics process - remoteness and dispersal of ammunition depots, decentralisation of logistics etc.
