This is what the candidates said after the results were published

On Sunday, the first circular of presidential elections was held. We already know that Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki will face each another in the second. These are statements by Trzaskowski and Nawrocki, as well as another candidates - including Sławomir Mentzen - who gave speeches during their election nights.


KO candidate for president Rafał Trzaskowski (according to the exit poll survey, he received 30.8% of the votes), after announcing the poll results of the election, he stressed that full determination and conviction of everyone to his candidacy was needed before the second round.

"I said it would be very close and close" - said Trzaskowski after the poll results were announced.

"I'm glad I won the first round, but we inactive have quite a few work to do. We request full determination, your voices, conviction of everyone" - said the candidate KO. "We are going for victory," he added. "This consequence shows how strong we must be, how determined we must be and how much work ahead of us we are starting present to win the presidential election" - he stressed.

Supported by PiS Karol Nawrocki (29.1%) said, "I am arrogant to be 1 of you and to be president of Poles and Poles and to be your voice in the Presidential Palace. I promise."

"These elections have indeed been the least fair in the past 35 years. It was an unfair election. A stream of propaganda and lies financed by the State Treasury Companies, institutions of the Polish State utilized to fight a civilian candidate. The organization that supported me, PiS, was taken. And what? And nothing! We are and we will win" - Nawrocki emphasized. "We must halt Donald Tusk's march to the unification" - he added.

During the electoral evening Sławomir Mentzen (15.4%) stated that "while knowing our polling results, they can even change rather strongly". "Despite that in the second circular I had the best chance with Rafał Trzaskowski, unfortunately I failed to pass it" - he said. He estimated that "the consequence of the second circular is uncertain".

"However, I think I took 3rd place and so it is the top success in the past of our environment" - declared the candidate of the Confederation.

"I intend to aid our voters make a decision in the second circular of elections" - he added.

Presidential elections 2025

Adrian Zandberg (5.2%) said, "We heard from the owners in the survey that we would have 0.5% support. From the wise men and tv experts that Together is incapable to collect signatures, let alone get a serious consequence in the election. We've heard there's no area for anything but a double and an utmost right. We proved them wrong."

"We have proved that there are quite a few people in Poland who want a strong, solidarity-based country that respects human rights. I thank everyone who went to vote for Polish solidarity and for the end of duopol" - he added.

"Electors are not a passer-by cup 1 politician can give to another politicians. The voters are smart people who have their views, their values and will vote according to them" - Zandberg said.

Simon Holovnia (4.8%) said, "I want to say for my part, and I believe that this decision will besides be made by our political environment, that we must give Rafał Trzaskowski a chance in the second round."

Referring to his result, he emphasized: "It turns out that not yet this time, not yet, but we are on the way, we are at a minute erstwhile our determination will depend on whether there will yet be a change in Poland". He besides added that the current elections cannot be interpreted differently than as a yellow card for the coalition. "More than 60% of the votes were won by candidates according to this poll connected to those who criticized the actions of our coalition" - he said. He besides stressed that he was looking at the poll results with large concern. As he said, this involves, among another things, the fact that "candidate of hatred, aggression, anti-Semitism" gained specified support in our society.

During his election evening in Warsaw Magdalena Biejat (4.1%) said that its consequence was "the best consequence of the left in years in the presidential election and by far the best consequence of a female moving for president in the past of the Republic". She admitted that she wanted her score to be better. "This is just an additional motivation to work even harder" - she stressed.

Biejat besides estimated that her level of support was an crucial signal for all politicians on the political phase that left-wing voters had to be counted. "You're important, your voice matters. Your vote counts, and that's what you proved in these elections today" - she stressed. She added that it was besides a signal to the left in the government and to the full government that it was essential to work even harder; to "bring left-wing affairs in this government."
