Prof. Wojciech Roszkowski noted in his "History of Poland 1914-1990" (W-wa, PWN, 1991) that "U.S. tender position strengthened in Potsdam as a consequence of the first atomic weapons test, but even this chance did not take advantage of more equitable solutions in Central and east Europe" ( op. cit. p.155). These wise words of Prof. Roszkowski about the reckless politics of the West towards the red power which, alongside Germany, invaded Poland in the beginning of the Second planet War, constitute a serious charge of submission to Stalin, who was a predator to Hitler. Unfortunately, Roosevelt was an invalid and political diletant, burdened in addition with animosity towards England, which Stalin used. And then Truman put everything in Potsdam, including the Kaliningrad district, which continues to this day like a thorn stuck between Poland and Lithuania, with a violation of the sovereignty of both countries. The enclave was cut there (or as others prefer? ) on the base of the russian army, which made certain that Poles and Lithuanians did not effort to claim against independence. The Russians had eyes on the Baltic. And this poisoned thorn is expected to stay there for the remainder of the world? However, this is the determination of Russia, and so are the Kuryles of Japan. And it is heard late that the Kremlin intends to deepen the integration of its "imperium" with Kaliningrad. What's behind this? There is speculation that the erstwhile empire has plans to destabilize or occupy the Baltic republics. And the erstwhile King would be very useful in specified a situation. In the chaos of so many wars in the world, anything can happen, and will Belarus stay in conflict? It's doubtful, but how questionable? The Chechens, as if they had retreated to their mosques. In the end, war is an uncertain business, and Alberto Savinio in the “Dedicating Europe” (Sorte dell,Europe, Milano 1977) wrote that “the war will debase the 1 who unleashed it and that it will yet deceive and betray those who wanted to usage it for their purposes. He will punish the mighty and the wicked, and stand on the side of the weak and the righteous.”.. These thoughts Savinio noted in October 1944, so 80 years ago... It must be revealed that Alberto Savinio was the younger brother of the celebrated artist Giorgio De Chirico, a native of Sicily, and his name was Andrea De Chirico, and he painted, music and writing himself. As for the artist, his reflections about the war sound unconscionable, and let us add that in his collection of articles and memories he did not miss Poland, he recalls his gathering with the porter of his tenement home and their conversation, on the morning of September 18, 1939, erstwhile they learned from the newspapers about the russian invasion of the Second Republic... that "Russians started an invasion of this unfortunate Poland in the east, which had already been harassed in the west by the Germans for eighteen days... And did you hear? They massacre their country from both sides...’ ( entitled “To Think and justice the Italians. ”) The 85th anniversary of this red apocalypse has late passed, and with this accent let us finish the evidence on Potsdam, Kaliningrad and the shameful wars. And fresh wars like asteroids orbit...
