Almost a year ago, the proposal was made to introduce compulsory “sexual education” to Polish schools under the misleading name of the fresh subject “health education”. According to the Pro-Life Law Foundation, it was proposed publically in October 2023 by a "sex educator", who then became part of a government squad forming the programming basis for forced "health education".
A fewer months ago, the Tusk government set up a peculiar squad to make a programming basis for a new, mandatory subject "health education" which is scheduled to enter schools on 1 September 2025. However, the proposal concerning the name of the fresh subject and the strategy for its implementation into the Polish education strategy was made publically in October 2023, shortly after the parliamentary elections and the change of power.
According to the Pro-Right to Life Foundation, on 23 October 2023 an entry on this subject was published by “sexual educator” Antonina Kopyt. As she wrote on social media just after the election:
“The fresh government has come! I will tell you what sexual education should look like at school!”
Within the framework of published proposals The copy suggests to the Tusk Government to introduce "sexual education" into schools under the name of a fresh mandatory subject "health education":
‘By what name? [insert sexual education into schools] If I'm in favour of a separate subject, I would love to grow it and call it wellness education. It is not only about avoiding controversy over the name, but besides about teaching about the general prevention of wellness and intellectual health."
Six months later, in April 2024, “sexual educator” Antonina Kopyt became a associate of a government squad whose goal is to introduce a fresh subject called “health education” into schools. As Mariusz Dzierżawski says, associate of the board of the Pro-Right to Life Foundation:
"I don't think anyone should have any uncertainty at this point that this is simply a forced "sexual education", hidden, as Antonina Kopyt suggests, under the name "health education" to avoid controversy. Especially since Zbigniew Izdebski – a sexologist awarded a German medal for his contribution to the improvement of “sexual education” – is at the head of a squad working on the programme basis, which included Kopyt.
The Pro-Life Law Foundation points out that even mainstream media are openly talking about the issue. any time ago there was an article on the Onet portal entitled “What a beautiful ruse!” Onetu writer writes about the strategy of the head of MEN Barbara Nowacka”:
“Nowacky cleverly combined sexual education with subjects that are hard to say that they may be subject to any ideology... It will be easier for Nowacka to defy attacks, from the church and the conservative part of the society, erstwhile on her shield she wrote out first of all the conflict to improve intellectual wellness and physical condition of children and young people."
As Mariusz Dzierżawski says:
"Nowacka does so precisely as she proposed in October 2023 "sexual educator" Antonina Kopyt – introduce compulsory "sexual education" under the name "health education" into schools and mix depravity with subjects that are not controversial. This is how forced sexual education is introduced to Polish schools according to German standards. This is simply a deadly threat to our full society – for all children and families in Poland.”
The Foundation reminds that the guidelines for "sexual education" of Polish children created in Germany assume, among others, the transfer of cognition to children about masturbation, homosexuality, sexual promiscuity and consent to sex, in a way besides with adults. The Pro-Life Law Foundation calls on all parents to mobilise and defy plans to introduce forced “sexual education” in Polish schools. A peculiar brochure was created to inform parents about the threat, which can be downloaded for free from the Foundation: https://stronazycia.pl/broszura-2024/
