Shield East and dual usage of infrastructure. How will civilian defence support the military?

The civilian Protection and civilian Defence Programme for 2027–2031 takes into account the defence needs of the state, including the implementation of the National Deterrence and Defence Programme "Shield East". The paper includes both preferences in the distribution of funds for voivodeships located closer to a possible threat, as well as circumstantial tasks related to retention infrastructure and support for military operations. The programme besides provides that "protective structures are designed, as far as possible, as dual-function facilities".
