Greece: plane carrying more than 11 tons of weapons crashed

In the northern part of Greece, close Kavala town (25 km west of it), there was an air accident. On the night of July 16, an AN-12 transport aircraft crashed (MEM 3032 call sign). The device belonged to the private fleet of Meridian LTD, and there may have been 8 crew members on board (most likely killed as a consequence of the crash). All crew members were to be Ukrainian citizens, as indicated by the Serbian Ministry of Defence. The wreckage site is safe and safety measures are underway to launch an accident investigation.
