Greece's Landing Forces do not have classical wheeled armored transporters, based solely on the M113 caterpillar (approximately 2000 pieces) and Leonidas II (near 500 wagons). Athens has long been looking for successors to at least parts of the U.S. vehicles used, analyzing many structures with both wheel traction (e.g. [VBCI MkII](https://defence24.pl/industry/greece-search-what-do-France-analysis)) and caterpillar (e.g. [M2A2 Bradley](https://defence24.pl/industry/greece-consider-large-purchase-in-us) and [KF41 Lynx](https://defence24.pl/inmetall-presents-lyn-in-greece)).
