Gen. Różański with the importance of submarines: not only Balyk, not only the navy

On Wednesday, Deputy Prime Minister, MON Head Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz announced that as a partner in the Orka submarine program, the government chose Sweden, offering the A26 ship to Saab. By the end of the year, an intergovernmental agreement to acquisition 3 units is to be signed. The costs are to be announced after the contract is signed; according to the Minister of Defence it will be around PLN 10 billion. France, Spain, Italy, Germany and Norway and South Korea besides submitted offers in the programme.
