On 11 April 2025, the Unbreakable Association, bringing together erstwhile anti-communist opposition activists, published a strong message on current events in the media. The organisation expressed its deep opposition to the withdrawal of tv concessions to the Republic and to Poland24, recognising this as a manifest violation of freedom of speech and the foundations of a democratic regulation of law.
The association recalls that it is thanks to the efforts of opposition groups that Poland can enjoy freedom today, including freedom of expression and public debate. All the more so – as indicated in the message – The actions of the present power, which they believe match the methods known during the martial law, are worrying..

In his speech, the organization refers to the brutal takeover of public media in December 2023 by the Coalition government on December 13. It was called "pacification" and the public media were called "propagand tubes". It was besides stressed that Polish radiophony and tv played a key function in nurturing national culture and should not be a tool for 1 political option.
Moreover, according to the authors of the statement, the current activities – the liquidation of independent tv stations – are not accidental and may be linked to increasing public support for Citizen candidate Karol Nawrocki in the upcoming presidential election.
The Firm Society firmly declares that will not let censorship to return and gag journalists, and their voice in this substance is not only an objection to the current decisions of the authorities, but besides Warning and Citizens' mobilisation to defend free media in Poland.
