The 10th Świętokrzyska Brigade of Territorial Defence celebrated its festival for the seventh time. The solemn appeal in Tokarni was an chance to honour the tradition, to give exploratory advisors and to thank the soldiers and partners for their joint service for the safety of the Republic.

The day of June 11 is simply a peculiar minute for soldiers of the 10th Świętokrzyska Brigade of Territorial Defence – this is the day of the brigade. On this occasion, on 10 June 2025, in the beautiful scenery of the Ethnographic Park in Tokarni, a solemn appeal was held. The event was attended by representatives of the general government, including the Świętokrzyski Provincial Józef Bryk and Senator Jarosław Rusiecki, and was besides present by Deputy Commander of the Territorial Defence Army, Colonel Mariusz Specialski. The guests besides included representatives of uniform services, state institutions and social organizations actively cooperating with the brigade, the combatants, as well as the Representation Orchestra and the WOT Representation Company from Radom.

The solemn appeal began according to the military ceremony with the raising of the state flag at the sounds of Mazurek Dąbrowski. This elevated minute introduced participants into the atmosphere of reflection, pride and the soldier community. Then 1 of the most crucial events of this year's celebrations took place. Colonel Mariusz Specjalski – Deputy Commander of the Territorial Defence Army – solemnly handed the reconnaissance officer. They received them: commander of the 10th Świętokrzyska Territorial Defence Brigade and commander of 3 subordinate battalions:

– 101st battalion of light infantry in Kielce,
– 102nd Infantry Battalion in Sandomierz,
– 103rd battalion of light infantry in Ostrowc Świętokrzyski.

Exploratory proponents are signs that in the Polish Army for centuries have meant honor, dignity of command and work for the soldiers entrusted. Today's graduation ceremony is not just honoring the commanders. This is besides a confirmation of the continuity of military traditions, emphasis on the command structure and symbolic seal of work which each of us assumes in the service of the Republic," said Colonel Sławomir Machniewicz, commander of 10 WBOT.

The commander of the Świętokrzyskie Territories, Colonel Sławomir Machniewicz, utilized the occasion of a solemn appeal to personally express appreciation for soldiers and employees of 10 ŚBOT. Many distinctions and distinctions were presented for exemplary service, dedication, and regular commitment. any soldiers besides received appointments for higher military degrees.

In his speech, the commander besides thanked the brigade's partners – representatives of uniform services, state institutions and social organizations from the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship – for their daily, effective cooperation, which translates into the safety of the region and efficient operation of the brigade.

– I thank all soldiers – for their regular service, readiness, professionalism and for the fact that you proudly represent the colours of the brigade and the Polish Army. I thank the families for their patience, knowing and support. Your presence is of large importance to us. I would besides like to thank our partners: local authorities, service representatives, social organisations and all the institutions with which we have been working for safety and the common good for 7 years," said Colonel Sławomir Machniewicz.

The 10th Świętokrzyskie Brigade of Territorial Defence was established on 11 June to commemorate the date of the introduction from the UK and the burial on the clearing of the “Bullshit” in the dry forests of the ashes of Major Eugeniusz Gedymin Kaszyński, ps. “Nurt”. By the decision of the Minister of National Defence of 22 February 2019, the brigade received the name of Major cc. Kaszyński – an officer of the Polish Army, silent, last commander of the 2nd National Army Infantry Regiment and deputy Jan Piwnik "Ponuri".
