Famous sports commentators are outraged by Mentzen's video. "The lawyers take care of it"

After the publication of a fresh movie on Sławomir Mentzen's profile, a storm broke out. The Confederate candidate for president praised the support of erstwhile volleyball player Marcin Możdjonk. There are voices of sports commentators – Tomasz Swiedrowski and Piotr Dębowski. Both claim that fragments of their engagement were utilized without their cognition and consent.


Sławomir Mentzen, in addition to an election run in the field, besides focuses on being online. Recently, a video starring Marcin Możdźonek, a erstwhile volleyball player of the Polish national team, and presently councillor Olsztyn, appeared on his profile.

In the recording Możdźnik recalls the success of the volleyball staff, emphasizing their determination. Just after his words, we can hear fragments of sports commentary – emotional statements by Tomasz Swiędowski and Piotr Dębowski, from historical volleyball matches. It was the usage of these passages that led to the immediate interest of lawyers and the owner of material rights, or Polsat TV.

"No 1 asked me" – commentators amazed and worried

Tomasz Swędrowski does not hide the outrage. In an interview with the portal Sport.pl said:

– Marcin Możdzynek did not call me and did not ask for my approval to usage archival materials with my comment. I don't know the legal situation, the case is in Polsata, the company's on it, and I'm a Polsat employee, so I'm waiting for the case to be settled. No 1 asked me, and I can say that with all responsibility.

He besides stressed that he wanted nothing to do with politics.

– I do not identify with anyone, with any option, I do not want to be active in politics [...]. My vote has rights, the company has rights to these materials. Marcin Możdźnik could have done it all differently [...]. And now lawyers and Polsat are taking care of it – concluded the esteemed commentator.



Piotr Dębowski besides spoke, whose voice appears at the end of the political video. “I have not given any consent to specified a thing, and I am just proceeding from you about specified a situation,” he said in an interview with Sport.pl portal.

Sławomir Mentzen and Marcin Możdzynek have not commented on the case so far.
