On Friday, April 11, 2 first presidential debates were held in Końskie, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship as part of this year's presidential campaign. In the first, organized at 6.50 by right-wing television, the Republic participated: Karol Nawrocki, Szymon Hołownia, Marek Jakubiak, Joanna Senyszyn and Krzysztof Stanowski.
At 8.40 p.m., in a sports hall located respective 100 metres further in Koński, the second debate of that day was held jointly by TV: TVP, TVN and Polsat. This time there were 8 participants. Apart from the 5 politicians mentioned above, it was attended by Magdalena Biejat, Rafał Trzaskowski and Maciej Maciak.
The debate in Koński was preceded by immense confusion. Until the end it was uncertain whether events would take place and who would participate.
Expert points to unobvious losers
— The biggest defeat of this second major debate was the organizers,” says Bartosz Rydliński of the University of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński. — I am referring to both Rafał Trzaskowski, who proposed the debate in general, as well as the tv that conducted it together. Trzaskowski played it wrong. He was already in the front door wanting to choice out the counter-candidates he wanted to talk to and those he refused to talk to. He divided the candidates into better and worse, and that, of course, took revenge. He wanted a "he versus Nawrocki" setup. possibly that's what the staff was prepared for. But in the end we witnessed a multi-hour debate, which Rafał Trzaskowski absolutely did not win. Simon Holovnia and Magdalena Biejat did better — says the expert.
According to Bartosz Rydliński, Szymon Hołownia was leading the show live, due to the fact that as an ex-journalist he is large at working with the camera. This made it more "presidential" than Trzaskowski, in the opinion of many people on Friday.
— And what's more, all debate has its breakthroughs, has these shots that go into history. And this was without a uncertainty the minute erstwhile from Rafał Trzaskowski, who ostentably rejected the rainbow flag, she was taken over by the candidate of the Left Magdalena Biejat. Memes with photos of this minute are already flying on the Internet. This may be a major problem for Rafał Trzaskowski in the further part of the campaign. possibly the environment that has supported him so far will turn distant from him — says a political scientist.
Despite the deficiency of knowledge, Nawrock comes out of the debate "with a shield". Is he gonna take Mentzen's votes?
According to onetu, erstwhile it comes to candidates outside the ruling coalition, Karol Nawrocki achieved his goal during the debate.

Such wording may aid Nawrocki to convince the electorate which hesitates between the PiS and the Confederacy and aid bring together people who will vote for Mentzen in the first round. — points out the expert.
Our talker besides evaluates another participants in the debate. In his opinion, at least 2 of them came to Koński to play the function of Stańczyk there, i.e. to defraud the current political agreement in Poland and show its paradoxes. According to a scientist from the University of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński, Krzysztof Stanowski and Joanna Senyszyn entered these roles.
— So hot, you've done better with it, says prof. Senyszyn. “She was specified a silent hero of this debate. She did better. Many of the audiences of yesterday’s discussion may have smiled with their expressions. However, Krzysztof Stanowski was much more tense than in his own podcast studio,” he adds.
The expert besides points out the function of Mark Jakubiak.
— He looks and sounds most likely to quite a few people like specified a nice, though conservative uncle at a wedding. This is the function he played and surely strengthens Karol Nawrocki's message. They didn't attack each another specifically. I presume that the start of Mark Jakubiak, however, serves to support this widely understood right-wing camp. In the second circular he will shift his support to Karol Nawrocki. There will not be many specified voices, but there will always be something — he estimates.
Bartosz Rydliński adds that the presence at the debate by Maciej Maciak is simply a large surprise. The performance of this man on tv should in his opinion ask questions about the efficiency of Polish services.
— However, the fact that a candidate is appearing in the presidential debate, who speaks the language of the Russian world, is curious. On the another hand, he had previously legally obtained these 100,000 required signatures, he points out.
"Telecommunication" and "ass", i.e. the memic lapsis of Trzaskowski
At the end of the interview, Bartosz Rydliński notes that the most lasting thing that will stay after a fewer weeks of debate in Koński will be... memes. These were already online at night, and they flooded her on Saturday morning. Their hero is most frequently Rafał Trzaskowski, who had 2 or 3 verbal lapsis.
— The PO candidate answered the question of Mark Jakubiak, saying that he seemingly does not drive Warsaw’s ‘telecom’. And now I even gag myself that possibly Rafał Trzaskowski is driving around Warsaw... not a tram, but a ‘neostrada’. Later, Trzaskowski answered the question about Central Communication Port and utilized the word "ass". I had the impression that he had the top headway in the debate, but he did not do well, and surely worse than Simon Holovnia, he admits.
— This is most likely a common opinion of commentators who observe and measure specified tv appearances in workshop terms. Rafał Trzaskowski before this full debate was very tense, and tv shows showed it on the partitions. I presume his staff were simply out of control: What happened all Friday morning, verbal pushes about the number of participants, then physical pushes at the entrance to the hall in Konski. That was embarrassing. It is clear that besides in organizational terms the staff of the Platform did not bear it.
