The intensive 16-day basic training provided by the 10th Świętokrzyska Brigade of Territorial Defence is coming to an end. On Friday, May 23, 2025, volunteers from the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship entered the demanding soldier's exam – the alleged "tactic loop". This is the last test before officially joining the Territorial defence Army.
This is the last line before the military oath for volunteers carrying out the alleged "sixteen", or basic 16-day military training. The key phase of this preparation was the alleged "tactic loop" – an intensive test that verifies both individual skills and squad cooperation.
The examination began on Thursday with a shooting, during which the ability to usage weapons was tested in practice. On Friday, May 23, from the early morning hours, a further part of the exam began in the area of the “Kelecki Stadium”. Candidates for soldiers had to face a number of tactical tasks, specified as transporting ammunition boxes, navigation utilizing map and busola, insurance march, breaking fire contact, giving first aid on the battlefield, putting on a gas mask on time and checking its leak.
This test is not limited to investigating individual skills. Each 12-member section consists of people with different competences, and the key to success is team-building and effective implementation of assigned tasks. Although each soldier individually has large potential, full effectiveness is possible only in a cooperating team.
The aim of the final examination is to measure comprehensively the level of training, combat performance and psychophysical resilience of soldiers in conditions akin to combat conditions. These features are the foundation for effective operation in the structures of the Territorial Defence Army.
The culmination of the training will be a ceremonial military oath. Already on Sunday, May 25, in the marketplace in Daleszyce, nearly 70 fresh OT soldiers will proudly pronounce the words of the oath, confirming their readiness to service the Homeland," said Colonel Sławomir Machniewicz, commander of 10 ŚBOT.
The mission of the 10th Świętokrzyska Brigade of Territorial Defence (Mjr. Eugeniusz Gedymina Kaszyński, p. “Nurt” is to defend and support the community of Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. During peace, this task is carried out, inter alia, in the form of combating and combating the effects of natural disasters and conducting emergency rescue operations.
