Dryjanska: Nawrocki is simply a reflection of the mentality of half of Poles. And there's nothing to be offended about

natemat.pl 1 month ago
On August 6, Karol Nawrocki will be sworn in as president of Poland. For razor blades, but he won with Rafal Trzaskowski. In the Presidential Palace, a man will sit down, who has drawn an infirm pensioner to the apartment, was to make extra money as a sutener and participate in the kibolian setups. During the campaign, he said he was 1 of us. That's where he was telling the truth.

Karol Nawrocki is simply a reflection of the mentality and morality of 50.89 percent electorate. And there's no request to be offended that most of us preferred a guy from the dark star in the Palace. That's how democracy works.

President Karol Nawrocki will represent his constituents with dignity

The voters of Karol Nawrocki can only be congratulated. They have won: in the Presidential Palace they have placed a politician to represent them with dignity. At least for the next 2 years – until the parliamentary elections – he will be looking for almost half of Poles and Poles who voted for his competitor.

Already during the election evening, he barely veiledly denied them patriotism and belonging to the nation. Innuendos flowed freely between ritual assurances of the desire to put the nation together.

I would have written that it had already begun, but not – the white-red flag already during the run was a prop which, if anything, could knock out the eye of the country. Like the Law and Justice for 8 years of his regulation erstwhile he did not approve, but understood, and sent nationalist militias to women. Nothing new.

Why Trzaskowski didn't win – these are the selected reasons

Thousands of wise analyses will now appear showing mistakes in the Trzask campaign. There were quite a few them, it's a fact. It is besides a fact that if the president of Warsaw were to come up with even 10% of the information that was revealed about Karol Nawrocki, the voters and voters identifying with the Coalition on 15 October would stay in the house.

Guess what: PiS voters do not have specified a dilemma. They will vote for all elected president, even if – or possibly that is why (that) – he was expected to be dealing with the "lady to company". I mean, his peasant.

On the Internet, there was a comment from a supporter of the right, who simply wrote that he would vote for Trynkiewicz, a convicted kid rapist, so that the candidate of the camp of present power would not win. Even if it is simply a joke, it accurately illustrates the phenomenon that needs to be acknowledged as much as its effect – Nawrocki's victory. If there is no another army other the army, the consequence is easy to predict.

Coalition 1.5 years of impotence

The consequence could be different if the Coalition fulfilled its demands on 15 October. If she could show that this powerful mobilization of 2023 was for something. The Sejm did not come up with a draft of legal abortion, single-sex marriages, or fast facilitation of access to homes that are so overwhelmingly affected by the crisis by young people. Duda had nothing to veto!

It's shocking, but only selected examples of the impotence of this Coalition. If the government were delivering, the president (probably) would be Trzaskowski. But the government does not deliver: turns to the right and the president of Warsaw drinks beer with Mentzen. Meanwhile, it was not the electorate of the far right that removed the Law and Justice from power. Now the electoral and voters have been sidelined by the government, which they have made possible.

It was this infirmity that killed the Trzaskowski campaign, not the fact that he didn't grin here, and he twisted there. Nawrocki's army marched criminally to urn, and Trzaskowski had only partially mobilized a common move. They were disappointed at home due to the fact that they didn't believe that with specified a denunciation of power the "own" president would change anything. And it's hard to deny the logic of their reasoning.

Kaczyński and Nawrocki. This triumph will aid the far right in parliamentary elections 2027

It was known that on Monday 2 June almost half of Poland would have a bad day, it was not only known which. Jarosław Kaczyński had to stand up in a champagne mood. He just got proof that with Poland and Poles you can do anything: there is no mode and no standards. The president of PiS did not bow to the pressure, which besides flowed from his own party: he did not trade Karol Nawrocki for another candidate. This isn't his first rodeo.

In 2027 Kaczyński will get even more started. With the president, Nawrock's tickle, who will put spokes into the government's circles, it will be even easier for him to convince voters that the Coalition can't do much on October 15, so it is better to vote for the Law and Justice.

There's no request to teardrop your robes, just to accept reality. A small over half of the voters preferred a murmured guest alternatively than a banjo due to the fact that he is "one of them". Tusk, who most likely greedily consummated the coalitions on his doom, is just proceeding the "terrain ahead" alarm beep.

What does this mean for a small "smaller half of Poland"? Maturity is about distinguishing things that are affected from those that are not changed. The fact is that the presidential election despite the shady past (or thanks to it) was won by Karol Nawrocki. There's nothing to worry about, due to the fact that Poland likes catastrophes. There is no harm to the (electorate) individual – even if he was deceived or tormented. This must be taken into account and we are happy to do our part as far as possible from the future war. As Albus Dumbledore said, happiness can be found in all times.
