In Manifesta, published after 25 years of activity, we read that a strong economy requires cooperation with business – that was the thought of the Leviathan uprising in 1919. And it remained unchanged to this day. We do not want to build another organization, we want an institution – independent and modern, which is always accompanied by the "think big" principle. History has faced us with powerful challenges many times, we've always beaten them. And our determination and loyalty to the founding goals will not change.
– From the very beginning we were and will stay the voice of Polish business – regardless of the changing political or economical situation. Our strength is consistency and commitment to business. We have always been guided by the belief that business must have its place in talks where the most crucial decisions for the country are made. It was us who crossed paths in social dialogue. We were the first to start talks with trade unions, leading to the formation of the Tripartite Commission and later the Social dialog Council. present we are advocates for her reform, due to the fact that we believe that effective dialog is the basis for a well-functioning economy. We have acted equally courageously on the European stage. Our office in Brussels was created before Poland entered the European Union – we were the first. present we are the only organization of employers from Poland, which belongs to BusinessEurope. Professionalism is our trademark. Over the years, we have built a squad of outstanding experts and analytical achievements, which are utilized not only by entrepreneurs but besides by decision makers. Now we go a step further – we make our own investigation and analytical institute.
We're not afraid of social issues. For years we have been engaged in efforts to advance equality between women in business. I myself am co-founder of the Women's legislature and creator of the Academy of Leadership. due to the fact that I believe a strong economy is 1 that gives equal opportunities to everyone. The European Union is simply a natural environment for us - I am convinced of this all day as Vice president of BusinessEurope. There 1 needs to be present, active and effective – precisely to guarantee that the interests of Polish entrepreneurs are genuinely taken into account at European level. In a time of war in Ukraine and tensions between East and West, we consistently advocate further integration with the European Union and transatlantic structures. Only Poland's strong position in the EU and NATO gives us a real impact on our safety and development. Ukraine's future is besides our future. Therefore, we unequivocally support the conflict of the Ukrainians for fair peace and their ambitions of entering Western structures. Ukraine and its way to the Union are a precedence subject. We share our experience with the integration process, due to the fact that we know how crucial business participation is in all this. In preparing for the Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU, we have developed circumstantial business demands and we are consistently striving for them. We organised a series of meetings with representatives of the future Presidency, and the culmination of these activities was the prestigious CoPres summit in Warsaw – an event that became an crucial platform for dialog between business and European policy. W Manifest, where are we going? The Confederation of Leviathan declares, among others, that it will fight for strong Poland in the EU and internationally, build strong and effective social dialogue, set standards for professional advocacy, supported deregulation of the economy, or sought to increase women's chances in business.
We will encourage power, no substance what political camp it is, to dialog with entrepreneurs. We will proceed to request real, reliable consultations, real coordination of the economical policy of the government and the appointment of the economical Council at the Prime Minister – the authors of the Manifest wrote.
