DJI presented its latest model present – DJI Neo 2. It is an ultralight, highly easy to usage drone designed primarily for beginners, families, amateur athletes and creators who want to evidence attractive shots without having to have operator experience.
Lightest and most compact DJI drone with full sensor system
The fresh Neo 2 weighs only 151 g, making it the lightest dron of DJI equipped with an "omnidirectional obstacle sense" – a strategy of all-directional obstacle detection. Thanks to the combination of cameras, LiDAR facing forward and infrared sensors, the drone ensures safe flight even in the hands of complete novices.
The integrated propeller defender and improved suspension stabilization make it easier to fly in more hard conditions – close obstacles, indoors or above water.
Revolutionary motion and hand handling as a launch platform
Neo 2 offers exceptional control modes:
- Start from the hand – just point the drone towards the user and press the start button.
- Return-to-Palm – erstwhile the recording is complete, the drone will return precisely to the user and land safely on the stretched hand.
- Gesture Control – with 1 or 2 hands you can control the direction of the flight, flying off or approaching the drone without a distant control or telephone.
In addition, voice control is besides available, supported by smartphones or Bluetooth headphones, which will be large for running, cycling or another activities.
Users looking for a larger scope can pair Neo 2 with the DJI RC-N3 controller, obtaining video transmission up to 10 km.
New camera: 4K to 100 kl/s, 12 MP and advanced tracking
The DJI utilized a 12-megapixel 1/2" sensor, a f/2.2 light and a fresh image processor, stabilized with a biaxial gimbal. The drone offers:
- recording 4K to 100 fps (slow motion),
- 2.7K in vertical orientation – perfect for social media,
- improved ActiveTrack to track up to 12 m/s,
- tracking in 8 directions for smoother camera movements.
In the fresh SelfieShot mode, just 1 click to automatically change the kind of shot – from frame to belt, to full figure, to a long plan.
Smart movie modes that will work for the creator
Neo 2 offers a set of extended automatic modes:
- Dolly Zoom – Hitchcock effect available with 1 click.
- QuickShots (Dronie, Rocket, Circle, Spotlight, Helix, Boomerang) – perfect for sports activities.
- MasterShots – the drone records the series itself with different shots and automatically assembles them with music.
It's a drone that practically makes ready material for publication itself.
Long flight time, wind opposition and fast transfer
Neo 2 offers:
- up to 19 minutes flight,
- wind opposition to level 5,
- 49 GB built-in memory,
- instant transfer to your smartphone via Wi-Fi at up to 80 MB/s,
- up to 105 minutes of material 4K/60, 175 minutes 4K/30 or 241 minutes 1080p/60 can be saved.
This makes it 1 of the most applicable compact drones on the market.
