Wąsów territory Conference

At the picturesque Wąsowo Palace, from 13 to 15 June 2025, “Magia Rotary” was the motto of this year’s territory Conference 2231 Rotary International. More than 100 Rotarians from all over Poland and the planet participated in this inspiring event, exchanging experiences, making fresh contacts and strengthening the spirit of the Rotarian community.

Integration and start-up activity

The conference began on Friday, June 13, with registration of participants in the lobby at the reception of Hardta Palace. The evening ended under the sign of “Magic integration” – in a charming gazebo next to the palace, participants played during an evening gathering with live music, which was provided by a wonderful duo from Rotary Club Shamotula.

Saturday morning, June 14th, greeted the participants with “The magic of morning activity”. They had the chance to take part in Rotary Run with the politician of Nominat Michał Sowa from RC Kraków – a run or walk at any distance, marked by a way in the palace park. The race registration was held before the start.

After breakfast, the grand beginning of the 2231 territory Conference took place. The beginning was made by Krystyna Baj-Pawluk, politician of territory 2231, RC Gorzów Wlkp. The full was moderated by politician Krystyna Baj-Pawluk of RC Gorzów Wielkopolski and PDG Piotr Jankowski of RC Koszalin.

The conference began with a minute of reflection, during which the memory of those who left in the erstwhile Rotarian year was celebrated.

Inspiring Talks and Magic

The conference's programme was highly rich in inspiring lectures, which showed the diversity of Rotara's activities. Barbara Bartle, typical of the president of the RI, PDG 5650 Nebraska & Iowa (2022-2023) from Lincoln Rotary Club 14, shared her thoughts on "The Magic of Rotary – Love in Action".

Ryszard Łuczyn of the RC Zamość Ordynack, coordinator of Ukraine's assistance in territory 2231, spoke about “Magic of Selflessness”. He presented touching stories of organized humanitarian convoys that provided the essential supplies to Ukraine. He besides presented details of rehabilitation tours “Health of Children of Ukraine” carried out in cooperation with Common Man for Ukraine. These turnuses were intended to supply medical and intellectual support to children affected by the consequences of the cruel war that is taking place in Ukraine after the Russian invasion. We are arrogant of the activities of our colleague Richard, who shows how strong and effective Rotary can be in action. Dorota Strug, president of the elect RC Polanica Zdrój, besides spoke on “Magic of Selflessness” and spoke about the Rotarian aid for floods.

Damian Kopczyk of the RC Gorzów Wlkp., president of the CFF Foundation, raised an crucial subject "The Magic of relation – household intellectual Health". The event was besides attended by CFF Founder Artur Czepczyński.

There were besides modern issues: Łukasz Zaborny, DICO, president of the elect RC Gdańsk-Sopot-Gdynia, presented “The magic of AI”.

Environmental protection, or "It is not magic, it is continuous action", was the subject of Marek Krawczyński's speech from RC Warszawa City, president of the Environment Protection Committee D 2231.

Dorota Wcisła from RC Elbląg Centrum, chair of the Public Image Committee and Editor-in-Chief of Rotary Polska magazine, spoke about "The Magic of Modern Media territory 2231".

Participants besides had the chance to watch the movie "The Magic of Rotaract 2024-25" by DRR Fabian Jarzab of RAC Warsaw.

Women in Rotary and Extraordinary gathering with Marek Kamiński

Krystyna Baj-Pawluk, 2231, RC Gorzów Wlkp., spoke about the gathering “The Magic of Women in Rotary” held during PELS in Łódź, highlighting the increasing function of women in the organization.

A real treat for the participants was the gathering with Marek Kamiński, a celebrated traveler and author who, as part of the “Magia of Passion and Travel”, told about his expeditions and activities for young generations. Marek Kamiński, is known for his pioneering expeditions to the poles of the Earth, including the first individual in the planet to win both poles in 1 year, shared his experiences, inspiring to cross his own borders and realize bold dreams. During the speech he besides addressed the subject of his Foundation Marek Kamiński, which supports the education and improvement of children and youth, promoting the thought of strong will and affirmative reasoning in the face of challenges. This gathering was moderated by Zofia Chołody, president of RC Poznań.

Summary and Solemnity Gala

The item of the Conference was the summary of the Rotarian year 2024-2025. territory politician 2231 Krystyna Baj-Pawluk, RC Gorzów Wlkp. spoke about the accomplishments of her term, followed by a large thanks to the politician Krystyna. The Rotarians present at the Hall stood up and all were applauded with applause for the word of office of Krystyna. Then politician Krystyna Baj-Pawluk symbolically handed over the rotarian service insignia, meaning the gubernatorial chain to politician Elekt Greg Gregorczyk of RC Warszawa City.

PDG Barbara Bartle, typical of the president of the RI, PDG 5650 Nebraska & Iowa from Lincoln Rotary Club 14, spoke again, summarizing the conference in her speech she stressed the function of Polish Rotarians in helping Ukraine, the importance of the End Polio Now project, as well as the power of good actions and the magic of Rotary, which unites us across borders.

The conference was officially closed by DG Krystyna Baj-Pawluk.

In the evening, there was a formal dinner with an amusement programme led by the Master of the Robert Gorbat Ceremony from the RC Gorzów Wlkp. It was a time for joyful celebrations and bonding.

Relax and Reflections on the End

Sunday, June 15th, went under the sign “The Magic of Relaxation”. After breakfast, the participants had time to relax, exchange impressions, walks in a charming area and reflections after intense days of the conference.

Once again, the conference proved that “Rotary magic” is not just a slogan, but a real force that brings people together and allows us to do good all over the world.
