Humanly designed – social action “Election” and competition for human-friendly projects

“Election” launched the 3rd edition of the social run “Designed in Humanity”. The action is linked to a competition and a plebiscite for products, objects, services and places that focus on human needs. The strategical sponsor of the task is Otodom, the initiator of investigation reports “Happy Home”.

The 3rd installment of the action “Designed in Humanity” will be devoted to our “places to life”. The editorial, jury of the competition and readers will look for answers to questions: what affects our sense of happiness in the place where we live, spend our free time, learn, rest, shop? How do urbanists and architects “give us life”? What rights do we have, and how do we gain knowledge? What is the work of local governments, and what is the work of those who build our homes, which is today
Mostly developers.

– Just due to the fact that we're talking about human plan doesn't mean we're just reasoning about the needs of people surviving here and now. A good designer besides has in head future generations and, which is inextricably linked to this, takes into account the needs and possibilities of our natural environment – Says Natalia Mazur, writer “Election” leading the task “Designed in English”.

“Election” will prepare a series of publications and podcasts, besides conduct a competition and plebiscite for readers. The first of a series of articles as part of the task was published on 25 January in Saturday magazine “Election” – “Free Saturday” and on Electoral.pl. Is available Here..

The competition will choice happy neighbourhoods – places where you live well. The chapter will measure the applications in 2 categories: PLACES – AREA, i.e. buildings, common spaces, community spaces, both under the roof and in the air, on a micro and macro scale, and INITIATIVES – ACTION, i.e. projects that foster relationships and engage in interaction. Readers and readers will choose their favorites as a plebiscite for Electoral.pl.

The results of the competition and plebiscite will be known in June during the gala. Winners will receive the sign – the award “Designed in Human 2025” and the monetary prize.
