The performance of Belarusian rapper Max Korża at the National Stadium did not rise the media sound as early performances of western stars. But Saturday's performance tickets (August 9th) sold out in December. 60,000 passes spread in... 4 days.
Chaos, shoving and banned flags
The rapper himself is known for his opposition attitude towards the Lukashenko regime. He besides calls for peace in Ukraine. No wonder many Belarusians and Ukrainians surviving in Poland appeared at his performance at the National Stadium. Unfortunately, any participants have broken all applicable standards.
Due to the behaviour of Belarusian rapper fans, the performance delayed by an hr and a half. People jumped the railings to get closer to the stage, any jumping from the stands to the record. There are reports of vandalism in the media. The rapper, safety and event organizers appealed for peace.
Security couldn't handle the enthusiastic participants. any of them brought the flag to the stadium, though it was forbidden. Thus, the colours of free Belarus appeared, a symbol of opposition to the Lukashenko regime. There are besides photographs on social media of 1 of the participants who presented the alleged flag, associated with the Volyn massacre.
This was not the only incidental involving Max Kore. On the eve of the authoritative event, in the post-industrial areas of Wola he made an illegal performance for respective 1000 people. The residents complained about the noise, the service had already determined who was liable for the event and who to hold responsible. The organization was interrupted by police, who finished the concert, detained 6 people for possession of drugs and wrote respective twelve tickets.
The rapper himself from the National scene repeatedly appealed for peace in Ukraine and emphasized how much he connected and how small he divided Poles, Ukrainians and Belarusians.
I'm Belarusian. We are neighbours and I think it is essential to say: Belarusians and Poles are no different from each other. They're all just different words. I know times are not light, but you gotta remember that politics is politics, and simple people are simple people," he addressed the audience.
