Dependent on cell phones and the Internet, lazy and comfortable... specified a image of the Z generation functions in public, but is it objective? Are those who claim that the Z-generation are unfit for military service? For example, you will read about this in the latest issue of the monthly magazine "Army Poland".
They sleep until 2:00, they have no duties—only pleasures. Constantly connected to the Internet, with headphones in their ears, incapable to work hard and any effort. They do not find themselves in teamwork, they are alternatively introverts, and life in the COVID-19 pandemic has confirmed to them that almost everything can be "remotely"... Publicists and sociologists race in the analysis of generation Z, i.e. people born between 1995 and 2012. By drawing a negative image of this generation, they are talking about changing the attitudes of people willing to sacrifice, fighting for ideals and common good. An echo in the media reflects the question: will the “fit” defend us in the event of a war?
Answer to that question We are besides trying to find the magazine “Army Poland”. We perceive to the voice of scientists and military, but we push aside stereotypes and patterns. We analyse various types of surveys and studies, including those conducted by the Centre of Doctrines and Training of the Armed Forces in Bydgoszcz among students of uniform classes. And although the results of the survey are not typical of all the “fits” in Poland, due to the fact that the survey included besides narrow a group, they carry a breath of optimism. Half of those surveyed at the age of 18–25 admitted that if there had been a war, she would have volunteered for the army to take part in the fight. The military announces that it will return to the survey in the autumn and this time will conduct it nationwide on a multi-thousand-year survey. Without waiting for the results, we wonder what qualities and skills of the young generation will be valuable to the army and what competences of the "fitness" will be useful in the air forces, cyber-military forces or land units.
In the fresh edition of the magazine you will read not only about the generation of Z. “Polska Armory” opens an interview with Deputy Prime Minister, Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish. The head of the Ministry of Defence asks about priorities of the Polish army, safety issues and method modernization of the armed forces.
The August Peezetka is besides filled with aviation content. In addition to the beautiful pictures (and the extra poster!) you will find articles on helicopters and revolutionary in the SZRP plan to train the enlisted officers on Apache pilots and talk about Air stunts and Air Shows. We have besides not forgotten about the fans of the GROM military unit – we print a sensational study from training of boat steerers Fight! I besides urge an interview with Dr. hab. Rafał Kopciem on the space mission of Sławomiz Uznański-Wiśniewski and many another interesting materials.
