"Soldiers of the 1st Podlaskie Territorial Defence Brigade supported fire extinguishing action in Biebrza National Park. On site they already appeared on Easter Monday morning, performing tasks under the supervision of the State Fire Department. Territorials participate in direct fire extinguishing, logistics and monitoring of the situation utilizing drones. They have experience, among others, from the largest BPN fire in 2020 and many another crisis actions specified as floods or the fight against the pandemic. They regularly practice with PSP, OS, police and foresters. The WOT besides plays an crucial function in MON crisis management."
