Red and white fregates. Further Swords on the way

Last December, a prototype of the ship, built under the Fregat Merah Putih program, was launched and baptized in the Indonesian shipyard in Surabaja, East Java. The KRI “Balaputradeva” unit was named after the maharajah, who ruled the Srividja kingdom in Sumatra in the 9th century AD.
