On the weekend of 8-10 August, the Border defender noted 550 attempts to illegally enter Poland from Belarus. However, there are many indications that the situation at the border may shortly become heated, as was the case in the autumn of 2021. To trigger a fresh migration crisis, Russia and Belarus were to join forces with the Libyan warlord, Gen. Chalifa Haftar.
