Between 23 and 25 May, the Baltic Sea Shooting Competition was organised in Latvia, which represented six Baltic countries. As a consequence of fierce rivalry, the CSWOT soldier placed first in the individual qualification and exhibited by the Territorial Defence Army representing 3rd in the squad classification.
During the three-day competition, the best soldiers from individual countries competed in shooting competitions with rifles, choice and device guns, pistols and device guns. The shootings were carried out on time each time, at different distances in this area many of them were carried out in a completely dynamic way, e.g. from a moving vehicle. An additional difficulty during the competition was the fact that their participants could only usage weapons made available by the organizers during the competition.
"The competitions were very interesting, and soldiers of another states did not give up. Prepared competitions required not only precision of shot, but besides good physical condition. I am delighted that I yet achieved success and took first place in the individual classification," said WOT Training Center soldier.
24 representatives of 6 countries (Polish, Lithuania, Latvia, Estoni, Dani and Finland) took part in the competition in Latvia. As a consequence of fierce rivalry, the first place in the individual classification was taken by a soldier of the WOT Training Centre, and in the squad classification, the squad representing the Territorial Defence Army took the 3rd place.
Winning in global shooting competitions is another immense success of soldiers of the Territorial Defence Military Training Center. It is worth mentioning that at the beginning of April this year 2 another Territorials from CSWOT achieved a historical feat taking 2nd place in the category of a lieutenant and a private in the elite competition "Best Warrior Competition" conducted in the United States.
